Board of Airlines Representatives in Nepal

The burgeoning significance of air transportation within Nepal’s economy  underscored the vital necessity for streamlined coordination among the diverse array of airlines operating within the country. The genesis of the Board of Airline Representatives Nepal (BARN) can be traced back to a profound acknowledgment of the aviation industry’s pivotal role in fostering Nepal’s economic prosperity and bolstering its tourism sector. As the landscape of air transportation services burgeoned and the number of airlines proliferated, there emerged an imperative for a unified platform wherein industry representatives could collaboratively address shared challenges and opportunities.

Founded in 1990 AD, BARN stands as a testament to the proactive response to this exigency, embodying the collective commitment of Nepal’s airlines to synergistically advance the standards of air transportation services and catalyze tourism growth. Its establishment was not merely symbolic but marked a tangible endeavor to harmonize efforts, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and proactively contribute to the holistic advancement of Nepal’s aviation industry. Through concerted collaboration and concerted action, BARN strives to navigate the complexities of the aviation landscape, fostering an environment conducive to sustainable growth and development while upholding the highest standards of safety and service excellence.
